-master of Queen's College, dated the 17th. ultimo on

the subject.

As reported in my Despatch No. 139

of the 25th. ultimo Mr. de Martin is at present on leave.

If, therefore, Your Lordship approves my recommendation

the Crown Agents should be instructed to issue pay to him

at the higher rate with effect from the date of Mr.

Williams's resignation.
